 Over the past twenty years, Mirek Mazur has proven to be one of the most influential coaches in North American cycling by helping athletes achieve their potential.
He has held coaching positions in Canada and the United States with Provincial and National associations. Throughout his career Mirek has developed and worked with hundreds of athletes from the grass roots level to the top of levels of international cycling.
Under his guidance, many riders surfaced on the cycling scene winning a number of major national and international titles, including the World Championships, World Cups, Pan American Games, Olympics and over 50 National Championships titles in Europe, Canada and the United States.
The 1996 and 2000 seasons are particularly memorable for Mirek as he fulfilled his coaching dreams: In 1996 five of his athletes made the Canadian Olympic Team and the results were astonishing, with four top ten places, including three Olympic medals.
