Pro-Elite team competes at Giro di Jersey

The 5 day stage race was recently held in central Jersey near Princeton. MainLine fielded five Canadians; Benji Martel, Adrian Huemmer, Mark Walters, Jordan Cheyene, and Jan Zak.

ADRIAN HUEMMER BREAKS THE RECORD.

18 year old Adrian Huemmer (The HAMMER) has broken the Hamilton Cycling Club record. The Manitoba rider who is preparing for Canada's Summer Games in Ontario completed the legendary 15km, White Swan Road course in 19.07 minutes. His average speed of 47.3km/h is the fastest on this hilly out and back course in the 100 year history of the Hamilton Cycling Club. In two weeks Adrian will make an attempt to break 19min. barrier at the same distance.

Next Schedule of events for the elite team includes Canadian Nationals and the Owasco Stage Race in upstate NY

Mainline Salutes our PA State Champions

Joe Manacchio picks up the Gold in Road 50+ and Kevin Saint Clair the Bronze. Robin Carpenter sweeps the PA Junior Bar 15-16 Age Category with the number one spot.. In the State Championships RR, Kevin got the Gold and Joe the Bronze. In the State 50+ Crit the bronze goes to Joe , and in the State TT 50+ TT, Kevin is awarded the bronze. Kevin also won top slot in Cyclocross BAR 45+ age group, earlier this year. Congratulations to Robin, Joe and Kevin, way to go !!

Main Line Cycling Club Welcomes New Members!

Main Line Cycling, Inc. is a not for profit corporation. Main Line Cycling is one of the most active racing and performance cycling organizations in Southeast, Pennsylvania. In 2007, MLC won the gold in 45+ cyclocross and silver in the 40+ and 50+ masters categories for the season-long PA Best All-around Rider (BAR) competition. MLC members won championships races in NY, PA, and DE. Racing and events are scheduled through out the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast and there is sure to be a team member there. Join the MLC and become part of the action.
